* George Hewitt
George Hewitt is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has been involved in the management of major projects since the mid-seventies.
An early adopter of computerised systems as applied to the management of construction projects, he has been involved in the development and adoption of Electronic Data Management systems for major projects.
He recently led the team which provided the EDM systems for BAA's Heathrow Express Project, and a number of other major projects.
Having struggled with the IT industry to get a level of understanding of the EDM requirements of the construction process, he set about finding the right products.
Fortunately the right products were also looking for representation in Europe. Following introduction to each other the understanding between engineers was immediate and mutual. QA Software's suite of products for Construction; Oil and Gas; Utilities etc had risen to dominate the Australian market and the next logical region for expansion - having planted a large foot in Hong Kong en route - was the UK, Ireland and Europe.
George founded Wise Systems & Solutions in 1999 specifically to market and support the PROJEX suite of Project Information Management modules. He has gathered together a Team with experience and skills unrivalled in the UK. Business partnerships have been forged with leading companies to further strengthen the expertise and support modern businesses require.

* Design Leader for 300 m long single arch span motorway bridge in South Africa
* Engineer for the first Hypermarket in South Africa
* Project Director for a new three campus University
* While a Project Management Partner with a major multi-dicsiplinary UK design practice responsible for around £1 billion of construction in UK and Europe.
